BRIEF:

Advising various Universities in relation to the exploitation and transfer of know-how by setting up a joint venture with an inventor. A professor were to be seconded to the joint venture. The funds and the time were both limited.

SOLUTION:

First of all, identify the intellectual property involved and the owners, draft and negotiate the transfer of know-how and licence agreement between the various shareholders. Negotiate and conclude the secondement agreement and the assignment of intellectual property rights. 

RESULT:

All done within the pre-agreed time and budget and work started on time.
