Maria is founder and director of Anassutzi & Co limited and having previously held a number of senior positions both in-house with Vodafoe Group Head Quarter and in private practice including being partner and head of IP/IT at a law firm in London. Maria speaks fluently Greek, Italian and has basic knowledge of the French language

Maria is a seasoned multi-jurisdictional lawyer with vast experience in general corporate commercial law, specialising in intellectual property, information technology, e-commerce and outsourcing.
 
Her clients include both suppliers and users of technology, Universities, inventors, and telecom companies and businesses.

Maria has co-authored “A Practical Guide to E-commerce and Internet Law” book  published by ICSA and has contributed to the “International Supply Contracts”  book published by Sweet & Maxwell. She has also contributed numerous legal articles to ICLR published by Sweet & Maxwell and more recently has published a number of articles in the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry newspaper.

Maria regularly presents to seminars  and holds workshops on intellectual property and information technology related issues. She has advised clients on intellectual property management and conducted in-house training on confidentiality, intellectual property and other related issues to senior management and board members.
